Glenn Winograd has been in the recruiting business since 1984, beginning his career as a recruiter shortly after graduating from the University of Florida. His first job in the recruiting industry was with one of the country’s largest privately held recruiting firms in New York City. In 1988 he joined Criterion Executive Search, Inc. and formed their Insurance Division. Glenn, who is a C.P.C. is considered to be one of the top insurance recruiters in the Tampa Bay area and has been widely quoted in the local newspapers as well as the Wall Street Journal on employment issues. He also serves on numerous boards and organizations.

Christopher joined Criterion in 2007, and has spent the past 13 years as a Staffing Professional.
A former Recruiter, Account Manager and Regional Vice President for a large national staffing firm, Christopher has managed businesses focused in Information Technology, Finance & Accounting, Healthcare and IT Infrastructure Project Management.
Prior, Christopher served 14 years active duty as a U.S. Marine Corps Officer in Infantry and Intelligence positions, attaining the rank of Major, and settling in Tampa in 1997 during his last tour of duty with the U.S. Special Operations Command.
Richard James is the Founder and President of Criterion Executive Search, a national recruitment, consulting, and solutions provider for corporations throughout the United States.
Prior to starting his own company, Mr. James was the Director of Employment for a Fortune 500 Corporation in the Northeast.
Mr. James, a Graduate of Pace University in New York City, has extensive experience in developing strategies for growth, implementing results oriented change and providing day to day operational guidance to small and medium sized organizations. He is on several Boards and involved in numerous charitable and community actives.
I enjoy pushing the envelope of development and usability and user experience; constantly excelling and attempting to set the bar. I have over 20 years of backend development in PHP, Coldfusion, Flash and assorted database languages. I compliment my development skills with 10+ years of design experience.
I am highly skilled in client facing situations, whether it is sales, training or client service. I consistently improve and expand my skills and read every possible publication relating to internet development, particularly those with branding and marketing skews.
David joined Criterion in 2004 and is a strong asset to the Insurance Division.
David was introduced to the recruiting industry while still in college and realized that he wanted a profession that would allow him to utilize good human resource and communication skills. David's abilities to think outside of the box and solve problems have ultimately attributed to his success as a Recruiter. He takes great pride in his profession, and strives to attain and maintain the highest of standards as a recruiter. David is extremely dedicated and is always willing to go the extra mile for his clients and candidates. He has built a reputation on honesty, loyalty and dedication and continues to strive to give the best costumer service possible.
David's prior experience, he worked in Orlando as a Healthcare Recruiter while simultaneously attending the University of Central Florida. His Recruiting experience has spanned multiple industries including, but not limited to, Property and Casualty Insurance, Accounting/Finance, Audit and Healthcare.
Ira has been an Executive Recruiter with Criterion since 1998, where he began in Manufacturing and Foundry units before joining the Insurance Division. His prior professional experience includes holding the title of Corporate Credit Officer for a major manufacturer, and manager-owner of several large Restaurants in New York and Maryland. Ira is a United States Navy Vietnam Combat Veteran and is a graduate of the City University of New York, Brooklyn campus, with a Bachelors Degree in Economics. Ira has also served as a member of the American Arbitration Association, and is presently involved in local philanthropic endeavors.
John joined Criterion Executive Search insurance division in September of 2010. He has over thirty-five
years of property and casualty experience, encompassing both the carrier and agency environments.
John began his insurance career working for major global insurance carriers in loss control, business
development, and underwriting holding supervisory positions in each discipline. More recently he
worked with larger independent insurance agencies in sales management and operations capacity. This
experience provides him with great insight into the needs and capabilities companies’ desire in their
John graduated from Western Illinois University. He earned his property and casualty license in 2002.
He continues to expand his industry knowledge and has earned the prestigious CPCU and CIC insurance
designations. In his spare time, John is engaged with numerous charitable organizations through Rotary
Club of Tampa Upper Bay and has spent many hours as a volunteer with the Boys and Girls Clubs of
Mark is an experienced Executive Recruiter who joined the Criterion family in 1998 as a key member of the Insurance Division. Prior to joining Criterion, Mark had enjoyed a successful career in management and developed a keen sense of an individual's abilities and where those abilities could be best put to use. During Mark's tenure with Criterion, he has been the recipient of numerous awards and has gained recognition with his peers and constituents. Mark is very active in his community, and participates in several charitable events each year.
Melody has been an integral member of the Insurance Division since 2001. She joined the team after a successful career in Property and Casualty Underwriting for both a large National Carrier and a global Retail Agency. A native of Florida, Melody focuses on the South Florida territory, where her ethics and hard work have earned her a reputation that supercedes all others. Melody is very active in her community and serves as Treasurer of her neighborhood association. While at Criterion, Melody has received several sales awards, including Rookie of the Year and is repeatedly a top producer.
Mike joined Criterion in 2007, opening our Branch Office in Cincinnati, Ohio. With over eighteen years of success in insurance executive search, he brings a wealth of experience to our team. Mike previously spent over eight years in the property & casualty insurance industry holding positions in marketing and underwriting with major companies in the Midwest. He is a graduate of Miami University in Ohio and has completed several recognized insurance industry classes. Mike conducts searches nationally in underwriting, marketing, claims, and operations for insurance organizations from field level to Home Office executive.
Sue joined Criterion in August, 2010 after 14 years with a national recruiting organization and 6 years in her own company. She built her business in Employee Benefits and Healthcare Consulting, soon becoming one of the top recruiters in the country in Benefits. Prior to starting her career in recruiting, Sue spent 10 years in compensation and benefit communications consulting with Towers Perrin, a national HR and Benefits Consulting firm. She continues to provide comprehensive human resource consulting and recruiting services to her clients and credits her success to honesty, integrity, humor, resilience, tenacity, and an immensely strong commitment and loyalty to her clients. And, her own personal experience working in a consulting environment coupled with 20 solid years as an industry recruiter gives Sue an in-depth understanding of what employers look for in candidates and what candidates look for in companies.
Gary joined Criterion in 2013 and has over 10 years in IT Staffing Industry. He started his IT career in the very competitive NY market and was quickly promoted to lead and then Recruiting manager for 3 offices in the NY region. He has also spent 2 years recruiting in the Public sector in the Washington DC area. As a Recruiter, Gary has the experience and understanding of what candidates look for in employment opportunities as well as how to guide them with their career choices. Gary is a diehard Giants, Knicks and Mets fan, but when it comes to college sports has a family divided between “The U”, FSU and USF.
Nick joined Criterion in 2007 and has over 10 years in the IT Staffing Industry. He started his staffing career with KForce Professional Staffing in 2003. As a Recruiter, Nick has the experience and understanding of what candidates look for in employment opportunities as well as how to guide them in their career choices, and has abundant knowledge of the local Tampa IT Market. A graduate of Florida State University, Nick is an avid sports fan, family man, and a healthy-living enthusiast.
Rob joined Criterion in 2013 and has spent the past 4 years in the IT Staffing Industry. After learning the industry as a recruiter Rob, made the jump into account management and has since been successfully working with clients to deliver top-talent, in response to a wide range of staffing requirements in multiple industries. A graduate of the University of Florida, Robert is actively involved in the university’s Young Alumni Association, is a member of Florida Blue Key, and enjoys spending time with friends, family, boating and watching Gator Games.
Sam joined Criterion in 2013 and has spent the past 4+ years in both the IT and Healthcare Staffing Industry. After learning the Healthcare Industry he decided to move over to IT. As a recruiter, Sam has an in-depth understanding of what employers look for in candidates and what candidates look for in employment opportunities. Before Graduating from East Stroudsburg University he attended Lehigh University playing baseball collegiately for four years. Sam is active in the Big Brothers Big Sisters program in Tampa, enjoys time with his family, friends, and is a lifelong 49ers fan.
Aime has enjoyed a successful career in Legal Recruiting since 1991, and has been part of Criterion's Legal Division since 1994. Aime has worked at Criterion in several major cities, including Huntsville, Chicago and Orlando and is well respected by the upper echelon of Law Firms throughout the country. A graduate of the University of South Florida, Aime now resides in Orlando and continues bring excellence to the Legal Recruiting industry.
Prior to joining Criterion Executive Search in 2009, Mike worked as a Healthcare Recruiter for a local healthcare recruiting company. In that capacity, Mike was responsible for handling the Tampa and Southeast US healthcare recruiting function for the company. Mike specializes in Management, Nurse Management and Allied Healthcare recruiting for the Healthcare Management Recruitment Division of Criterion. Mike's knowledge in Healthcare Recruiting allows him to effectively communicate with Criterion's clients' needs for qualified candidates. Mike graduated from the University of South Florida in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science in Management Information Systems. A native of Indiana, Mike is an enthusiastic Colts and Hoosier fan.
