Description

Our client, a well-established insurance brokerage in the Southeast, is looking for a Commercial Surety Account Manager to join their team. This fully remote position focuses on managing a diverse portfolio of bonds, including contractor, probate, and miscellaneous surety bonds.

Key Responsibilities
Assess client needs and recommend tailored surety bond solutions.

Manage the full bond lifecycle, including applications, issuance, renewals, and compliance.

Collaborate with underwriters to secure competitive terms for clients.

Maintain strong client and underwriter relationships to drive satisfaction and retention.

Oversee billing processes and assist with collections as needed.

Prepare and review documentation for accuracy and compliance with regulations.

Handle client inquiries and resolve issues promptly and professionally.


What You Bring
Experience: At least 4 years in commercial surety/bond account management, with expertise in contractor, probate, and bid bonds.

Licensing: Active Property and Casualty Insurance License is required.

Skills: Strong understanding of bond underwriting and risk assessment, with excellent negotiation and communication abilities.

Tech Savvy: Experience with industry-specific software like AMS360 and ImageRight is a plus.
