Compliance Director Insurance Remote Florida Only

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Homeowner's Insurance Compliance Director to ensure our company's compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing compliance policies and procedures, overseeing compliance audits, and training, and ensuring the company's continued adherence to all applicable laws and regulations.

Responsibilities: Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures for homeowner's insurance products. Stay up-to-date with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards and ensure the company's compliance with them. Oversee compliance audits and assessments to identify areas of risk and recommend corrective actions. Work closely with internal departments to ensure that compliance requirements are integrated into business processes and operations. Provide guidance and support to other departments on compliance matters. Conduct training and education sessions to educate employees on compliance policies and procedures. Develop and implement a risk management program to identify and manage compliance risks. Prepare and submit reports on compliance activities to senior management and regulatory bodies as required. Collaborate with external parties, such as regulators and industry associations, to stay informed of industry developments and changes in regulations. Monitor and review customer complaints related to compliance issues and provide timely resolution.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related field (such as business, finance, or law)
Minimum of 5 years of experience in compliance or regulatory affairs in the insurance industry. Thorough understanding of homeowner's insurance products and related laws and regulations. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills. Ability to work independently and remotely.
