Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our well-respected and successful insurance organization as a Stop Loss Marketer / Sales Rep. In this role, you will be responsible for driving top-line revenue and growth by promoting a niche product. The ideal candidate will have at least 3-5 years of insurance sales experience, excellent problem solver, can think on their feet and have experience with B2B sales.
Remote position: This is a fully remote position with approximately 10% travel.

Compensation and profit-based incentives: Salary and bonus will be based on the profitability of the organization.


Responsibilities:
90% of the duties include cold calling and making follow-up calls: Make cold calls to potential agents, follow up with underwriters for quotes, and maintain regular communication throughout the submission process.

Develop and maintain relationships: Call regional and boutique brokers and agents to promote our stop loss product, establish relationship, and become a trusted advisor.

Sales strategy: Collaborate with internal departments, such as underwriting and claims, to ensure effective sales strategies and work on miscellaneous projects as needed.

Achievement: Meet or exceed sales quotas by utilizing a consultative and solution-based approach as a trusted partner.

Revenue growth: Produce stop loss activity on an on-going basis by creating a pipeline of new business.

Relationship building: Build and maintain broker relationships, create new business opportunities by evaluating group coverages to offer stop loss.

Marketing initiatives: Develop and execute marketing plans, stay informed of industry trends, and leverage social media platforms to increase brand recognition by write articles and blogs to promote our brand and engage with customers on various social media platforms.

Networking and insurance events: Attend trade shows, events, and conferences to network, grow and cultivate new relationships.

Collaboration and communication: Work effectively as part of a team and maintain excellent communication skills with all levels of the organization.


Qualifications:
3-5+ years of insurance marketing/sales experience, preferably with a carrier or MGU background.

Proven track record of success in meeting or exceeding goals.

Excellent communication.

Self-motivated and able to work remotely with minimal supervision.

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Familiarity with industry trends and the ability to adapt to a changing market.

Proficiency in using social media platforms for marketing purposes.

Ability to think on your feet and adapt to changing situations.

Team player with the ability to work collaboratively with various departments within the organization.
