Extremely fast-growing broker that is looking to give a book to an experienced underwriter needs a sales, production, and goal oriented underwriter/broker with a tremendous sense of urgency. Must have 5+ years on the wholesale broker/underwriting side and solid agency contacts in the Worcester/Boston area. This broker has many markets ready and willing to write new business and is strong in the $5,000–$25,000 space. They have both binding and brokerage markets, but this spot is mostly binding. There is potential to take over an office for a person who will retire by the end of the year and get part of their book. They will not look at company underwriters, but they will consider assistant brokers/underwriters who feel they are ready for the next step. This is a hybrid position with two days in the office. Base plus bonus plus commissions.
