Extremely fast-growing broker is looking to give a book to an underwriter with at least 5 years of experience on the wholesale broker/underwriting side and solid agency contacts in the NY/NJ metro area. Must be sales, production, and goal-oriented with a tremendous sense of urgency. This broker has many markets, both binding and brokerage, and is strong in the $5,000–$25,000 space. They will not look at company underwriters but will consider assistant brokers/underwriters who feel they are ready for the next step. This is a hybrid position with two days in the office.
