Location: Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey or Connecticut
We are conducting a confidential search for a President of Employee Benefits with an established and growing benefits organization.
This is a high-impact leadership opportunity for an experienced Employee Benefits executive who can drive growth, develop talent, strengthen production and help build a scalable platform for continued national expansion.

The Opportunity
The President will have responsibility for the overall performance and growth of the Employee Benefits practice, with a strong focus on middle-market organizations.
This leader will work closely with producers, account leaders and senior management to build a high-performing organization, increase revenue and profitability, and create a culture of accountability and development.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the overall strategy and direction of the Employee Benefits practice

Drive new business production and organic growth

Develop and execute strategies to increase revenue and profitability

Build, coach and retain high-performing teams

Develop producers and future leaders

Establish meaningful performance metrics and accountability

Strengthen client and agency relationships

Identify new markets, products and growth opportunities

Expand the practice's capabilities and national presence

Help create the tools, resources and infrastructure necessary to support continued growth

Evaluate self-funded, alternative funding and other innovative benefits solutions

Partner with senior leadership on long-term business strategy


Ideal Background
Significant leadership experience within Employee Benefits

Proven track record of growing an EB practice or business unit

Strong new business and producer development experience

Experience leading sales and/or service professionals

Demonstrated understanding of revenue, profitability and business performance

Strong leadership, coaching and employee development skills

Experience with middle-market Employee Benefits

Strategic thinker who is equally comfortable executing at the ground level

Entrepreneurial, growth-oriented mindset

Strong communication and relationship-building skills
