CNC Machine Service Technician

Onsite Exeter and Newington, NH
1st shift
Core Competencies: Must have experience with complex mechanical repairs of CNC lathe and milling equipment

TOTAL COMP: low 40s/hr or more PLUS 10K sign-on Bonus PLUS 9% annual Bonus potential

Position Summary:

This individual works for the Machine Maintenance Manager within the Facilities Department to:
Perform maintenance on all CNC equipment

Coordinate and support plant preventative maintenance systems

Implement continuous improvement activities to support the manufacturing process.


RESPONSIBILITIES
Diagnose, Replace / repair, predict and prevent potential equipment failure to minimize down time.

Perform preventative maintenance and continually develop preventative maintenance program.

Install and repair hydraulic, coolant or air systems which are associated with the machine.

Repair or replace gauges, valves, pressure regulators and other machine related equipment.

Troubleshoot failure of mechanical components.

Familiarity with all required safety practices associated with the job and follow safety procedures, security protocol and wear proper PPE.

Preventative maintenance.

Effectively utilize vendors and outside contractors.


Requirements

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
5–7 years of maintenance experience on CNC Equipment….including production CNC mills, lathes, mill-turns, broaches and similar machines.

High School Diploma….Technical School or College Diploma a plus.

Knowledge of CNC Controls and Drives, Electrical power distribution.

Computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office suite.
Knowledge of automatic tool changers and pallet systems.

Ball screw & axis support bearing replacement & alignment.

Spindle replacement and repairs.

Hydraulic and pneumatic troubleshooting and repair.

Turret repair and alignment.

Skilled in reading mechanical drawings and part prints.

Electrical and electronic troubleshooting background.

Skilled in reading / following ladder and wiring diagrams.

Ability to troubleshoot electro-mechanical assemblies.

Control experience with Fanuc, Siemens as well as other PLC experience

220 / 480volt knowledge and experience.

Predictive Maintenance

Ball bar calibration

Vibration Analysis.
